Refund & Cancellation Policy

Grounded is offered to EU consumers, so the EU 14-day right of withdrawal applies. This page explains how it works in practice.
1. 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the order date, without giving any reason.
To exercise this right, send an email to contact@grndd.app with your account email and order details. We will refund the full amount paid within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method.
2. Immediate access to a digital service
Grounded is a digital service that is delivered immediately upon purchase. Under EU law (Directive 2011/83/EU) the 14-day right of withdrawal can end as soon as you start using a digital service, but only if you have expressly waived this right.
To keep things simple and customer-friendly, Grounded does not ask you to waive your withdrawal right at checkout. This means your full 14-day right of withdrawal remains intact — you can request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, even if you have already started using the app.
3. Cancellation of subscriptions
- Annual plans (Essential & Growth): the first 12 months are paid upfront and, outside of the 14-day withdrawal window, are non-refundable. After the first year, the plan continues automatically every 4 weeks and you can cancel any time before the next 4-week period.
- Growth Flex: €29 per 4 weeks. You can cancel at any time from your account. Already-paid periods are not refunded; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
4. How to cancel
You can cancel from your account settings, or email contact@grndd.app and we'll handle it for you. We confirm cancellations by email.
5. Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, offer a goodwill refund outside of the above rules (e.g. in case of serious technical issues that prevented you from using the service). This is not a right and is decided case-by-case.
6. Complaints
Not happy with how we handled your refund or cancellation? Email contact@grndd.app first — we want to fix it. EU consumers also have access to the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.
