Accessibility Statement

We want Grounded to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology. This statement explains the standard we apply, where we currently fall short, and how to reach us if something is not accessible to you.

1.Our commitment

Life Architect B.V. is committed to making the Grounded website and application accessible in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and with Directive (EU) 2019/882 (the European Accessibility Act) as it applies to consumer digital services.

Accessibility is treated as an ongoing obligation rather than a one-off project. New features are reviewed against the standard before release, and existing screens are revisited as we improve them.

2.Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML structure with headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can navigate content.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images and accessible names for icon-only controls.
  • Keyboard operability for interactive elements, with visible focus indicators.
  • Colour contrast targets that meet WCAG AA for body text and interface text.
  • Support for browser and operating-system text resizing and reduced-motion preferences.
  • Touch targets sized for comfortable use on mobile devices.

3.Conformance status

Grounded is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard. We assess conformance through a combination of automated testing and manual review; we have not yet commissioned an independent third-party audit.

4.Known limitations

  • Some decorative animations and gradients may reduce readability for certain users; the reduced-motion setting of your device is respected where possible.
  • Certain third-party embedded content (for example App Store or media components) is outside our direct control and may not fully meet the standard.
  • Some data visualisations convey information primarily through colour and are accompanied by text where feasible.

5.Feedback and contact

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or you need information from this site in an alternative format, contact us at contact@grndd.app. Please describe the page, the device and assistive technology you use, and what did not work. We aim to respond within 10 working days.

6.Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the competent national enforcement authority for accessibility of digital services in your country of residence. Consumers in the Netherlands can address the relevant Dutch supervisory body responsible for the implementation of the European Accessibility Act.
