1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are used to make sites work, to remember preferences, and sometimes to measure or personalise content.

2. Which cookies we use

Grounded currently uses only strictly necessary cookies and local storage. We do not use advertising, marketing or third-party analytics cookies, so you do not need to give consent under the EU ePrivacy Directive / Dutch Cookiewet for the cookies we set.

• Authentication — to keep you signed in to your account after you log in.
• Session / security — to protect against CSRF and to keep the app stable.
• Language preference — to remember the language you selected.
• Stripe — when you go through checkout, Stripe sets cookies that are strictly necessary for fraud prevention and to process your payment. See Stripe's cookie settings.

3. What we do NOT use

• No Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel or similar tracking.
• No advertising cookies.
• No cross-site tracking.

If we ever add analytics or marketing technology that requires consent, we will add a cookie consent banner before doing so.

4. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the app (for example, you will not be able to stay logged in).
