Age Policy

Grounded is intended for users aged 16 and over. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, subscribe to, purchase, or use the Grounded App or Services.

Grounded is not intended for children under 16. If we become aware that a user under 16 has created an account, we may take appropriate steps to restrict or terminate the account and delete associated personal data, subject to applicable law.

Our product minimum of 16 applies worldwide. In addition, the following legal rules apply wherever they are stricter:

• No person under 13 may use Grounded anywhere in the world. In the United States this reflects the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA); we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we delete it without undue delay if we discover it.
• Where local law sets an age of digital consent or a contracting age higher than 16, that higher age applies to you and you may need parental or guardian consent.
• Where you are under the age of legal majority in your country, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to our Terms of Service on your behalf.
• Parents and guardians can ask us to review an account, access the data associated with it, or have it deleted, by contacting us.

Grounded is a personal growth and lifestyle app that includes features relating to:

• personalised routines and habit-building;
• meditation and mindfulness;
• physical activity and exercise;
• sleep, steps and activity tracking;
• weight and calorie tracking;
• personal goals and progress; and
• general lifestyle and personal development.

Some features therefore involve health, fitness and wellness topics. Grounded may also include social and accountability features involving interaction with other users.

Grounded is not a medical service and does not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic, nutritional or other professional advice.

Grounded may request a user's date of birth or age confirmation during registration.

We may restrict or suspend an account where we have reasonable grounds to believe that the stated age is inaccurate or that the user does not meet the minimum age requirement.

If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that a person under 16 has created a Grounded account, please contact us at contact@grndd.app.

We will review the report and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law.

Grounded does not knowingly direct marketing at children under 16 and does not knowingly use their personal data for advertising profiling.

Grounded's minimum age requirement of 16 years is separate from the age rating assigned by Apple.

Grounded provides accurate information about its features and content when completing Apple's App Store age-rating questionnaire. Apple's age rating does not change Grounded's own minimum-age requirement.
